Monkey Brothers is the duo formed by Ruben and Sergio Pellon. Sergio, who was the first of the brothers who started to play music, has been involved with electronic music for more than 10 years. He was the resident dj in MDF Sofa Club in Madrid (Spain) for more than 4 years. It was in this period when he started to produce music.

He also was the resident dj in La Mousse Club and in Nature Club, and became the music producer for Tele 5 (national tv channel). He also forms part of "Killing d Time", a spanish electronic music band.
In 2003, Ruben moves to Lithuania to live and starts to play in Stereo 45 club, an underground club in Vilnius that was a pioneer of the electronic music scene in this city. Since then he?s been playing all around East europe. He is also a resident dj in Gravity Club and a member/founder of "Backdoors" and "Everlast" collectives.

In 2005 Sergio moves to Lithuania and Monkey Brothers is formed, with the intention of creating a characteristic sound, with house and tehcno influences, focused towards the dancefloor. During 2008 Monkey Brothers releases the "Panico Escenico" EP for Regular label, with 3 tracks that explore the minimal sounds of Tech.

In March 2009 they release their ¨Signos¨ EP on Regular, with four tracks and one remix featuring Deepak Sharma. A month later their release ¨Manuela¨ Maxi for the New York label ¨Hidden Recordings¨.

During 2009 the was playing around the world in cities like Mexico DF, New york, Wasington, Moscow, Kiev, Minsk, Riga, Kaliningrad, Barcelona. At the same time they made a remix for the track ¨Looking for a shape¨Pablo Bolivar, and ¨Criminal¨ Citizen kain & Jaumetic.

New release ¨At the end of the day¨ Ep for Regular label with 2 tracks plus two remixes of Darren Price and Pier Bucci, on april 2010.

At the end of this year 2 remixes more, one for the Freach label ¨Catalytic¨and the other one for ¨Human resources¨ Russian label.
